Stampin' Up!'s biggest sale of the year is just around the corner! Starting Jan 24th you can once again earn a free item for EVERY $50 you spend. There is no limit to how many items you can earn through March 31st!

This is a sneak peek of some of the free product. I used the new DSP pack of paper called, Everyday Enchantment. It matches the 2011-2012 In-Color family. It is so pretty! The flower stamp is also an earn-able item called, Fresh Vintage Stamp Set. I used Lucky Limeade as the card base & shaded the stamped flower image with Pool Party. The Happy Birthday is stamped in Calypso Coral. The little butterflies are from the beautiful wings embosslet.

I hope you enjoyed!

Another January Class Card

This is another stamp out of the Occasion Mini called, Candy Conversations. It is one of the great single stamps that SU! sells. The base cardstock is Lucky Limeade. The textured dotted DSP is also from the Occasion Mini called Sweet Shop. I layered the main image with Calypso Coral. The "love you" stamp came from the P.S. I Love you stamp set also out of the Occasion Mini. It is a real simple card with vibrant colors. I used the taffeta white ribbon to add a bit of dimension.

I hope that you enjoy & come to the January stamp class to make this card!

Death by Chocolate

I got out my new stamp set, P.S. I Love U, to play with today. I absolutely love this set. All of the stamps used on this card came from this set. I used the Chocolate Chip marker to color the bottom of the Strawberries, Cherry Cobbler to color the strawberry part, & Garden Green to color the stem. The cardstock is Cherry Cobbler with a Chocolate Chip layer. I used the new textured Impressions Embossing Folder for the border around the bottom of the card. My favorite part of the card is the Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details that I placed along the chocolate line. All these products will be available in the new Occasions Mini Starting January 4th & I can't wait!! The Holiday Mini will come to a finish January 3rd, so if there is anything you still want, then now is the time to order!!

I hope you enjoyed this sneak peek of the upcoming catalog! We will be doing this card for the next class coming up in January!

Run, Run, Rudolph!

We made this adorable Reindeer candy bar wrapper in class for December. The wrapper itself is DSP from the Neutrals paper pack. I cut the Chocolate Chip piece 51/2" x 6" & wrapped it around the candy bar. The nose is made from the 13/8" circle punch in Chocolate Chip & 1" circle punch in Red Glimmer Paper. The tuff of hair is 1/2 of the 13/8" circle scallop punch. The eye lids are one 1" circle punch cute in half from the Chocolate Chip & the eye balls are 3/4" circle punch in white & 1/2" circle punch in black. The antlers are made from the big shot sizlett die called Swirls and Scribbles.

These were such a big hit at class!! Most of my customers are making them to give as gifts for christmas!! Good Luck ladies!

Baby Elephants

We have a new baby coming in the family we are so so excited!! My cousin Ashley Wilson & his wife Brooke are finally having a baby!! They are adopting a baby girl & she is due Dec 7th. If she is not here by the 12th she will come to the world c-section.

My mom & I decided that we better get busy & get some cards made. My mom already finished the baby bee & the receiving blanket for me to give. I bought the material & she sewed it up. In our family we call blankets made with flannel & batting that are tied out with yarn, bee's. They are a long family tradition & we love them!!

The card that I made is this darling elephant card. The stamp set is a retired one called Baby Steps. I fell in love with this stamp set when I saw it. I have had it since Sellabration last year & have been waiting for the right occasion. The base to the card is Pretty in Pink & I used the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder to give the background some texture. The layer for the main image is the shimmer silver paper. I just love this paper. It comes in both red & silver. The elephants I stamped in Pretty in Pink & cute out ears for a 3-d affect. The ribbon I tied on the card is a silk & organza ribbon that is not Stampin' Up!. I know shame on me huh? hehehehehe

Next post I will share the cutest hershey bar wrapper you have ever seen for christmas!!

Sparkly Stockings

After class in November, I came home & made this card using the gorgeous glimmer paper from Stampin' Up!, of course. I used real red for the card base & whisper white embossed with the big shot using the Snow Burst embossing folder. I used the stocking builder punch with glimmer paper for the stockings. I had issue with getting the glimmer paper to stick to the other one, but with a little mini glue dot it did the trick! The Merry Christmas sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes set.

I hope you enjoy!

Match Box Die

This cute little box is from the Stampin' Up! Matchbox Die for the Big Shot. It holds 4 Hershey Nuggets. I stamped whisper white paper with the It's a Wrap Holidays stamp set. After cutting them out I snailed them on & reinforced with tape. The card stock is a little strong to stay without some tape. Labels can be used & will not have to be taped. We are going to make this project at December's class. Hope to see you there!!

I hope you enjoy!!

Rudolph with your nose so bright.....

Don't you just love this card?? I cased this card from Rhonda Griffin. I met Rhonda at a craft show that we were both doing. I started buying her cards to case!! I laughed as I bought them, because another card is just what I needed for sure. I changed her card just a bit, but it is basically the same.

I used real red as the main card stock with Early Espresso & Crumb Cake layers. The Crumb Cake layer I ran through the Big Shot with the Snow Burst embossing folder. The reindeer are made with the Petite Pennants Builder Punch & the matching stamp set called Pennant Parade. His little antlers are punched with the Snow Flake Punch.

I hope you enjoy!!

O' Christmas Tree...

This is a card that I made with the Snow Swirled stamp set. The picture does not do it justice at all though. It was a super easy card to make. I used bashful blue as the card base & one of the layers. Whisper white for both of the other layers. I love this new embossing folder. It is called Snow Burst from the holiday mini. It is one of my favorites right now. I embossed the tree in silver & used one of our large rhinestone gems for the topper.

I hope you enjoy!!

ATC

My sister in law made this ATC for me. ATC stands for Artist Trading Card. They are about the size of a baseball card & are tradable in the stamping world. Some people really get into collecting these. I think it just turned out just beautiful!! She is really into the vintage look. I can not even fathom how to make something look like this. She sure has the nack for it! I really do not know the supplies she used to make it, so I can not list them all out, but wanted to share this with you all to see!!

I hope you enjoy!!

Oldie But Goodie

I pulled out an oldie but goodies stamp set to create this card called For Father. I think this set was in the Occasions mini a couple years ago. The minute I saw it I knew I had to have it with this dog image in it. I just love dog stamp sets! Maybe that's because I am an animal lover! I watercolored this image, which I am not the best at. I drug the edges of the cardstock through the black ink pad to give it that tarnished look.

Stamps: For Father, Small Little Sentiments
Ink: Brocade Blue, Real Red, Basic Black, Chocolate Chip, Not Quite Navy
Cardstock: Whisper White, Crumb Cake
Accessories: Modern Label Punch

I hope you enjoy!!

Another swap Card

I made this card for a winter/christmas swap that I joined. I thought I would try this Mother of Pearl technique for the background. I think it turned out way cool! It is hard to see in the picture, but it looks all iridescent in person. I will share some of the cards that I received back from the swap later in the week.

I plan on us doing this card for September stamp class since we are going to do Christmas cards!! I have told my customers that I will try to teach a different technique each month, so this will be the one for September.

Stamps: Polar Party
Ink: Basic Black, Not Quite Navy, Marina Mist, Pretty in Pink, Melon Mambo
Card Stock: Whisper White, Marina Mist, Not Quite Navy, Shimmer White
