Chocolate Bunny

I saw this little guy in the occasions mini catalog & knew that I had to have him to use in class for Easter. He is one of the single stamps that we have both in the main catalog & the occasions catalog. They are very reasonably priced as well. This is called an Easel Card. My mom & I learned this card fold a couple weeks ago. We will be doing this card for class for March on the 6th @ 2pm. There will be an option of either Pink or Blue for the bunny. I think he is just darling!! Ink: Chocolate Chip Craft & Classic. Card Stock: Close to Cocoa, Whisper White, & Pretty In Pink. Supplies: Heat Tool, Clear Embossing Powder, Scallop Oval Punch, Scallop Trim Border Punch, Scallop Corner Punch, Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon, & Paper Snips.

Hope to see you in class!!

More Fishys

After seeing what Jessica & I had made Thursday, my mom wanted to give it a try also. We came up with these 2 different designs.

Enjoy!!

Hello Baby!

My soon to be new downline & I decided to give it a try with the fish cards. We started with the Delightful Decorations stamp set to stamp the fish bodies in Riding Hood Red, Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink, & Kiwi Kiss, then punched them out with the ornament punch that matches this set. We used the 1/2" circle to make the white of the eyes, & 1/4" circle for the pupils. We used the new heart punch that is in the occasions mini for the fins & the hearts around their head. We used the retired Bella Rose paper for the background & then for some of the fish. While we were stamping my soon to be new downline starts this discussion about what the "hello baby" stamp is for. Whether it is for a baby or a man. I laugh & said it is for a man! So we use them on our cards! I just love that saying with the fish looking at one another.

I hope you enjoy!!

Fishy Friends

I dug out this oldie but goodie tonight to make this card for my friend's son who is turning 15. I sent him a just jawing card last year, so I had to come up with something different. This set is called Fishy Friends. Last summer when I was there, I took the boys fishing, & we had the best time. Avery no more than threw his pole in & caught a nice size bass. I used Night of Navy as the card base with a print out of one of the retired prints pack. I colored the fishes with only orange and summer sun, and a shade of night of navy. I hope you enjoy the share!!

Love Bugs

Tonight I show you a card I made with the Love Bugs hostess set. This set is one of my favorites from the current catalogs. I cased this card from someone, but made a few changes. Base of the card is Real Red, with a Basic Black and Whisper White layer on top. I used the word window to punch for the little love bug words to show threw. I first stamped the saying on small scrap of Real Red, and adhered it between the black & white layer. I stamped the love bugs on whisper white & punched out with the large oval & layered on Real red punched with the scallop oval punch. I used the black & white gingham ribbon to set it off!

Feel free to leave a comment & let me know you stopped by!

Baby Card

This is a card that I once again used the fox and friend set to make a baby card for a friend of ours that just had a new baby girl. I used pretty in pink, certainly celery, and bashful blue for the scallops. The ribbon I used is our whisper white satin ribbon. It is so pretty on cards.

I hope you enjoy the card!!

February Stamp Class

This month I wanted to feature cards for valentines day & cards that could be used for other things if they wanted to. I love, love, love this new set!! It is called Fox and friends from the occasions mini catalog. It features the cutest little animals. I used Real Red & Chocolate Chip. I also used the new heart border punch out of the catalog to make the border on the chocolate chip strip. The scallop circle was used to layer the monkey punch outs from 1 3/8" circle punch.

This next card I used the new heart punch to punch out little hearts from the new Sending Love Specialty paper out of the occasions mini. The polka dot Real Red ribbon is from the big catalog. I also used the new corner punch for the corners & the Well Scripted stamp set for the greeting. I cased this card from somewhere, & I'm sorry to say I do not remember where from.

This last card I am showing you is a card I cased from the new SU site for demos called Stampin' Connection. I do not remember the designer of this card. I love the thoughts & Prayers set out of the big catalog. It has become one of my favorite sets of the year. I use it all the time. I really feel that it is a must have for all of our stamp collection. I just loved the idea of adding the little hearts from the new punch from the occasions mini. The colors are for valentines, but could easily be changed to other colors for other occasions.

I hope you enjoy the cards & see you next time!

Upsy Daisey

I made this card for a challenge on a yahoo group I belong to called Late Night Stampers. This weeks challenge is Butterflies. I found this card on Stampin' Connection & cased from Julie Pita.

I made the card base & ink on flowers Rich Razzleberry. The DSP used is from the Cottage paper from the catalog. I used a piece of old olive to layer with the paper. The stamp sets used were the Upsy Daisey & Flight of the butterfly. I used the Eyelet punch to do the border on the bottom.

I hope you enjoy the card!!

I know it has been a long time again since I posted, but wanted to share a couple cards I made for a "fancy folds" swap. I joined both groups that were available. These cards were to feature unusual folds & be anything but a regular card.

The first group I joined I decided to do a lattice fold. This is a fold that you have seen before on my blog, when we did this fold in class last valentines. I used the Love You Much set with the new DSP called "Sending Love Specialty". If you have not seen this paper yet, you are really missing out. It is textured paper with glittery images. It features the colors: Real Red, Very Vanilla, Pretty in Pink, & Chocolate Chip & can be found in the new occassions mini catalog.

The second group I joined, I chose to do the pinwheel folded card. I hate that my camera does not pick up the bright colors of Melon Mambo & the DSP called Rasberry Lemonade. It can be found in the big catalog.

Wicked Witch of the West...
