Six Sided Sampler

This card was our 4th project for the July class.  This set is one of the many bundles that SU! has this year.  It is called the Six Sided Sampler bundle.  I cased this card from Margaret Rayburn.  She used different colors, but same design.  The flowers in the middle are the new clay & molds that we have with SU!.  I used the stripes embossing folder with the big shot & the Party Blossom die for the black flowers in the big shot.

Washi Tape

Here is another card that we did in July card class.  We used the Flower shop stamp set & the new matching Pansy Punch.  Have you tried washi tape yet????  I LOVE it!!!  I have so many rolls of tape it is unreal!!  On this card we used the Gingham Garden Washi tape.  To top it off & add a bit of sparkle we used some of the large jewels that SU! has.

Butterfly...fly away home

I first made this card to give to my niece for her graduation.  I used the emboss resist technique to make the butterfly.  I used black embossing powder & heated it.  I then colored the butterfly completely with Pool Party.  After coloring the base of the butterfly, I then used a blender pen with the retired color, Not Quite Navy.  I cut out the butterfly & put on the card with dementionals to give it a 3-D effect.

After I made the card above, I was going to a shoe box swap & was required to bring a door prize.  I decided to use the same butterfly pattern, but place on a covered composition notebook for a larger scale.  I think it turned out beautiful & I received lots of compliments on it!!

Sunflower Rosette

This card we did in class some time ago, but never got around to posting it.  I was teaching how to make the rosettes without the die that SU! has.  We used the woodgrain background stamp & the Autumn Accents Die for the leaves.

Bug Box

The same shoebox I was talking about going to yesterday, my mom decided to go & stamp also.  We were in the middle of cake decorating class at the time, so my mom decided that she wanted to take cupcakes in a box all decorated.  This is the box that we cased for the goods!!

Swap for across the street!

My neighbor & I are in a swap that occurs every month.  In August we got each others names!!  That is a hoot that we participate in an international swap & we get each others names from across the street!!  This is a cased card from someone I can't remember, but I just love it!

I used the mixed blossom punch & the pansy punch to make the flowers.  The center of the flowers are our SU! clay button mold.  I made the buttons with the clay, then let them dry for a couple hours, then painted them with the Aqua-painter.
