Thoughts & Prayers

I really Love this set!!!  I think it is one of my new favorites.  It is just so so beautiful.  I did this card for my classes in Feb.  I think it was received well.  When I selected the colors for this card, I wanted it to be bold, yet soothing.
I ended up choosing Taken with Teal & Chocolate Chip.  When I first started putting this card together, my 21 year old son said, "I'm not sure I'm feelin' it".  We talk like we are on American Idol occasionally....lol.  I turned to him & told him he had to be Taken with Teal.  After showing him the name of the stamp pad we got a good laugh.
I used the new Eyelet Border Punch to create the nice edge on the chocolate chip layer.  I used the markers to color the stamp with both of the colors.  After it was stamped on the top note from the big shot, I used a little dap of 2-way glue & dazzling diamonds glitter!!  When u look at the card, it actually looks like teal glitter, but it's not.  I also finally used my spritzing tool in class.  I just love the spritzer....don't you?  It adds just that right touch to a card.  I also sponged the top note with taken with teal.  The punches I used to make the saying the corner was the curly label punch & the wide oval.  I'm excited about the new scallop oval that is coming out to layer with the large oval, but sure wish we had one to layer with the wide oval.  I finished it off with the new chocolate chip grosgrain ribbon.  I started out by having severe "stampers block" when I designed this card, but really like the way it turned out.  Please feel free to leave your comments below!
