Play night

Last Friday night one of my customers called & asked if I wanted to stamp, & I was delighted to stamp with her.  It was a lot of fun.  She has this Pun Fun set & I just love the skunk!  She made the red one & I made the Blue.  I used the retired Azure paper.  I did not realize how pretty it was until I saw it in her papers, & had to try it.  I sure wish I had bought a pack of this paper.  Darn it!  Oh by the way, I guess I should tell you I am a DSP addict too!  Possibly ribbon also!  This ribbon came from the dollar bin at Micheals craft store.  I will have to post back the link to the tutorial that we learned how to make the scallop frame using the new SU Scallop edge punch.

Until Later,

Good Sunday Morning!!

Well, today is going to be an awesome day!  I have lots of cards to show you today.  I went to a shoebox swap Thurs night with my SU mom, & SU sisters.  We made the most darling cards of course.  I am lucky to have very talented SU family!  I also swapped cards with one of my SU sis's for our stamp class cards.  Needless to say, I came home with some awesome stuff!  Let me quit yacking & get to showing you.
I just love, love, love, my big shot!  This was the project I took for everyone to make, & of course we got to snack on those extra m&m's as we were feeding our addiction to stamping also!  I used the new halloween paper with the batty for u stamp set.  I think these little round stamps are just darling to put on a lot of different gift items & cards.  I used the new Tangerine Tango grosgrain ribbon.
This cute little pillow box was made by my upline Jody.  She was very sneaky.  She had me bring my pillow box die to play with one night to her house, & I supposedly cut out enough for her stamp camp coming up.  Well, guess what, she gave them as gifts to all of us Thurs!!  She bought the little pumpkin die & used that for his face.

This picture does not do this card justice at all.  This was one of my favs that we made Thurs.  It was designed by my SU sister, Mary Huntington.  She cut the leaves out with the big shot, leaves #2 die on DSP covered chipboard.  The DSP  (designer series paper) that she used for the leaves & strip on the card is from the spanish catty.  To save on time, she had already embossed 3 coats of glassy glaze.

Keep checking back at my blog, or subscribe to my feed.  I will be posting more cards from Thurs. this week.  I am going today to work on a swap that I am participating in for the new holiday mini coming out Oct 1st.  I might sneak you in a pic of my swap card this evening!

Have a great Sunday!!

My name is Heidi Sorg & I'm an addict.......

Well today is the day that I publish my addiction!! I have resisted this endeavor for a long time now, but have finally surrendered.

Before we go any further, I want to thank my best friend, Tonya. She is the one that designed my banner. I absolutely think it is gorgeous!! Didn't she do a fabulous job? It is more than I even dreamed it would be as we were designing it!

Fellow Addicts..... she is for hire!!!! She does beautiful work & I can guarantee you that she has the best prices around! I will post a link to her designing site very soon.

We met on-line years ago playing cards, met in person, & now talk on the phone & chat online daily. She is known to me & our online friends as "Scooby" & my name is "Cheekie" or "Cheekiemonkie". My husband called me that when we first started dating, because he heard it on Sat. night live & thought it sounded cute & sweet. I since found out that it has not such a cute sweet meaning in England. LOL.....never the less it has been me for years now! Not that you all wanted my nickname history, but I wanted to share with you, so you wouldn't have to wonder why I named my blog what I did.

Stay tuned, I will be posting some of our addicted material soon!!

I welcome your comments as we travel this journey together. It is going to be a lot of fun!!

until later!!
