Cookiessssssssssssss!!!

I made this card for my monthly punch swap sample for June. The choices were Favorite Holiday, Food, or Wedding. I went with food!

I used the confetti set for the background stamped in Chocolate chip. The cookies are made by punching out Early Espresso & Whisper White with the Extra Wide Oval punch, & layering them together. I used the Pinking Hearts Border Punch & the Level one hostess set for the greeting.

I am going to a stamping retreat tomorrow & Saturday & hope to come back with lots of things to show you!!

I hope you enjoy!!

Goodbye to a wonderful set!

This is a sad time of the year, when Stampin' Up! puts out the retirement list. I am sorry to see the Pick A Petal set leave. We have used it a couple times in class, and we will be doing this card in class for June. I cased this card out of this years catalog. I love the cork to off set the card. It gives it texture & depth. I used the Lucky Limeade paper for the background. I think I have said this before, but I LOVE this new color!!!!!! It's my new favorite color I think! The sentiment is from the level I hostess set out of the summer mini called Swirls & Curls verses.

I hope you enjoyed!

VC Rocks Blog Hop

This is the first time I have ever been in a blog hop!! I am so excited! The subject for the blog hop is the Big shot. One of my favorite subjects!! So, let's get started!

I created this card by using the big shot mostly. This is my favorite new color combination too! I used Whisper White, Melon Mambo, & Lucky Limeade! Lucky Limeade is one of the new In Colors that comes out July 1st, so you are getting a sneak peek.

I used the Perfect Polka Dots embossing floder to emboss the card base & the flower. I cut out the flower using the Fun Flower die. I layered the flower on the trusty top note. The sentiment came from the hostess set, Swirls & Curls Verses from the Summer Mini.

Now that you have looked over my project please feel free to hop on over to Angela Walter's blog . If you would like to go back to the previous blog, hop back to Mary Jo Price-Williams's blog .

I hope you have enjoyed! Feel free to leave me comments & let me know what you think!
